Remove all of the Windows’ annoying system Security Alerts!
Windows has a feature that will alert you when there is a problem with your system’s firewall, updates or virus protection. This is a great idea but there might be times when you don’t want to get these notifications (like on a kiosk or public computer).
This tip will show you how to disable some or all of the Security Notifications.
How To Disable Windows Security Alerts
- You can access the Windows Security Center via the Control Panel, or by hitting the Windows Key+R, then typing:
control wscui.cpl - On the left of the Windows Security Center dialog, you will see a sidebar navigation titled “Resources.” Click the last link, it reads: “Change the way Security Center alerts me”

- In the Alert Setting dialog, untick any or all of the notification that you don’t want to see.

- In OK in all dialogs and changes will be immediate!
